There is no European standard for employer bills of quantities. There is, however, a strong set of vocabulary patterns that repeat across languages — English, German, Turkish, Hungarian, Polish. If you know those patterns, you can auto-detect the header row and column mapping in any Excel that follows the norm.
That is exactly what ScopeSense's BOQ importer does. It scans the first ~40 rows for the row that carries the most known header hints — Description, Mennyiség, Adet, Menge, Anyag e.ár, Material u.p., and so on. It picks that as the header row and maps each column to a canonical field.
Currency is detected from a nearby cell. Discount and unit-of-measure are inferred from the cell content. Section headings — the ones that don't have a quantity but do have a description — are skipped. Everything below the header that carries both a description and a quantity or unit becomes a BOQ line.
The upshot: you do not rename a single header. You upload the file the employer sent, unchanged. Five minutes later, prices from your vendor quotes, manual entries, and AI predictions land in the same shape they came in.
